Get Encryption Key

Before upgrading your CDM Server version, you can find your encryption key. This key is required during the installation of a newer version over an existing CDM database.

  1. Run the GEK.ps1 utility provided with the installers in PowerShell.
  2. You will be prompted to input the path to the files of the current (old) CDM Server instance.
  3. If the path you have provided is correct, the key will be displayed in PowerShell.
