Views in the Interface

You can adapt the appearance of some areas of the CDM interface to meet your needs as you are working.

Depending on the tasks that you are performing, you can click the following icons to change your view of the interface to meet your needs. The icons are located in the status bar at the bottom right.

Default View Mode icon

Default View Mode

Used as the default view in CDM.

  • The Navigation Pane and the CDM ribbon are visible.

  • The Microsoft™ Office ribbon is not visible.

Section View Mode icon

Section View Mode

Used to hide the main ribbon on any screen. When a report object is open on the screen, it also reveals the Microsoft ribbon for that report object (for example, the Excel ribbon in an Excel object).

  • The CDM Navigation Pane and the Microsoft Office ribbon are visible.

  • The CDM ribbon is not visible.

Full View Mode icon

Full View Mode

Used to maximize the CDM working space. It is particularly useful when you are working in a complex report object.

  • The Microsoft Office ribbon is visible.

  • The Navigation Pane is collapsed and the CDM ribbon is not visible.
