Regional Settings

Regional settings refer to adjusting date, number, and currency formats for the specified culture. These settings impact tables, print areas, and variables from Excel objects when generated into other formats.

Required Permission

To edit regional settings for reports, you should have the following permission allowed:

Report Permissions > Report Object Management > Modify Report Properties

Specify Regional Settings

CDM19.8.1 and later

You can specify regional settings using the Language and Region Options:

  • In the CDM desktop client, at the report level, in the report properties (which overrides the server setting)

    Specify Regional Settings in Report Properties

  • At generation (which overrides the report or server setting)

    Specify Regional Settings at Report Generation

  • On the CDM application server

Before CDM19.8.1

The regional settings can be set during generation; otherwise, the settings on the CDM Server will be applied by default.
