Filer Details Page
The Filer Details page contains steps on entering filer information, specifying form type related settings, and providing contact and notification details. Fields with an asterisk (*) are required.
To complete the filer details:
- The Use EDGAR Next functionality checkbox is selected by default. To file using this new system, enter your CCC and User API Token. The CIK is prepopulated, but can be changed here if needed.
- If you want to use Classical EDGAR filing, clear the EDGAR Next checkbox, then in the Filer Information section, select the option for either I am self-filing or I am a filing agent. A filing agent is a third party (like Certent) who submits filings on behalf of other companies (registrants).
- Self-Filers - Enter your CCC and EDGAR Password. The CIK is prepopulated, but can be changed here if needed.
- Filing Agents - Enter the Filing Agent CIK and EDGAR Password. Enter the Filing Company CIK (prepopulated) and CCC.
- The Filing Wizard immediately validates whether the EDGAR credentials are valid. If they are invalid, you cannot proceed to the next step. The EDGAR system will lock the account if there are five incorrect attempts in a fifteen-minute period. New access codes will need to be generated directly from the EDGAR website if this happens. See SEC Credentials for more information.
- In the Self Regulatory Organizations (SRO) field, choose one or more stock exchanges or other self-regulatory organizations where securities are listed or traded. If none applies, select NONE.
- For Filing as an Emerging Growth Company, select Yes or No. If Yes, select the box if you have elected not to use the extended transition period for complying with any new or revised financial accounting standards, if appropriate.
- If appropriate, select Elected as a smaller reporting company.
- In the Additional Options section, you can select:
- Request a Return Copy - This requests a return copy of the filing as it is received. Copies of accepted live filings and accepted or suspended test filings are stored on the EDGAR Filing website for you to download.
- This is an electronic copy of an official filing submitted in paper format - A confirming copy is not an official filing. This option should be used only when the official filing was previously made on paper. When a confirming copy is sent, the file number and value must be entered for non-subject company filings. For subject company filings a file number must be used.

Include multi-registrant - If co-registrants exist for the project (CDM administrators set which entities are associated with a project), they are displayed in a list when you select this checkbox.
The CIK and CCC numbers are displayed for each co-registrant, and you can select if each is an emerging growth company, if you are electing not to use the extended transition period, and if it is included in the filing.
- To add a registrant to the list, click the Add icon
. In the Add Registrant dialog, enter the details for the registrant, then click OK.
- To edit the details of a registrant in the list, select the registrant and click the Edit icon
. Edit the CIK and CCC numbers as required, then click OK.
- To delete a registrant from the list, select it and click the Delete icon
.
- To add a registrant to the list, click the Add icon
- Click Next to specify the form type related information.
- Select the options which apply:
- Filer is a shell company
- Filer is a voluntary filer
- Filer is a well-known seasoned issuer
- Select the appropriate Accelerated Filer Status:
- Non-Accelerated Filer
- Accelerated Filer
- Large Accelerated Filer
- Not Applicable
- Click Next to provide the contact information on who to contact should there be any questions about the filing submission. This contact will receive email notification of the filing results, in addition to the contacts on file for the company in EDGAR (see Update Contact Information in EDGAR ).
- In the Contact Name field, enter the name of the person to contact if there are questions about the submission.
- In the Contact Number field, enter the phone number of the contact.
- In the Contact Email field, enter the email address of the contact.
- If required, select Enable additional notification emails to add additional persons who will receive a submission notification by email. Click the Add icon
to add a person, or select a person and click the Edit icon
to update that person's email information.
- Click Next to proceed to the Validation page.
