Hidden Fact Eligible for Transform EDGAR Warning

Hidden Facts

In iXBRL, the XBRL tags must match the HTML exactly with a few exceptions. A hidden fact EDGAR warning means there is a tag that does not match the HTML, which is not included in the exception list.

[ix-0514-Hidden-Fact-Eligible-For-Transform] WARN: 4 fact(s) appearing in ix:hidden were eligible for transformation: us-gaap:DebtInstrumentTerm, us-gaap:GainLossOnForeignCurrencyDerivativeInstrumentsNotDesignatedAsHedgin...

For more information on hidden facts in iXBRL, see EDGAR Filer Manual (EFM) 5.2.5.14.

Possible Causes of Hidden Tags

  • A narrative XBRL tag may have this error if its bookmark has shifted so that it no longer exactly matches the placement of the value in the text.
  • If Alternative Tagging Value is used, it may need to be removed.
  • If the tag is an EDGAR-allowed transformation, it may not be following the transformation rule set.
  • If none of these resolve your issue, reach out to your XBRL accountant for further assistance.
