Manage Typed Dimensions of a Project

A typed dimension is a dimension in XBRL that is composed of a variable set of members that must conform to a specific type that is defined by using XML schema. You can work with both simple or complex typed dimensions. A simple typed dimension is a typed dimension where the specific XML schema type involved has simple content. A complex typed dimension is a typed dimension where the specific XML schema type involved has complex content. If your project uses a taxonomy that supports typed dimensions, you can use CDM XBRL to customize members of typed dimensions.

To manage typed dimensions of a project:

  1. Click the Home tab, then in the Navigation Pane, click Administration.
