View XBRL Tags in a Summary Report

As you work in CDM XBRL, you can view a summary report of all the tags in a report.

A tagging summary report in CDM contains all of the tagged data in your generated report. You use the tagging summary report to review each tag to make sure all the required data is tagged properly.

Note: You can see only the tags that are contained in printable sections of your report.

The summary report is a temporary HTML document that highlights each tag. You can hover over a tag to view information about that tag, including the concept name, time period, entity scheme and identifier, and value.

To view XBRL tags in a summary report:

  1. Open the project that you want to work with.
  2. Click Show Tags in Report on the ribbon. The All processes completed window opens.
  3. When the tagging summary report is complete, click the Open icon in the All processes completed window. The tagging summary report opens in an HTML browser with all tags highlighted.
