Log Files
Log files on CDM can provide detail that is useful to Certent CDM Support when troubleshooting. To adjust the logging settings, see Logging Configuration.
To locate them on your machine:
- In the search bar on the start menu, or in the File Explorer address bar (Windows + E), type %localappdata%\CDM\LogFiles, then press Enter.
- Click on Date modified to see the most recent files at the top.
- Select the set of three files for date to review, likely your most recent set. The files include the date created, and follow the naming convention: AllErrors.[yymmdd].log, Application.[yymmdd].log, and Trace.[yymmdd].log.
- You can zip these files, or copy/paste the content to share with Certent CDM Support.
