Headers Appear Gray in Word

You may notice that headers appear gray in generated Word output, compared with HTML, iXBRL, or PDF.

This is because Word displays headers and footers as gray (slightly lighter color) when not active. These headers and footers will still print in the font color they are set up with. Double-click on the header to open it, and you can see the true font color that is used.
