Replace Item Aspects in a Project

You can use CDM XBRL to replace item aspects, including ones for query items, in a project.

Tagged items must exist in a project before you can replace its item aspects.

You can only replace item aspects in projects using either a COREP (Common Reporting) or FINREP (Financial Reporting) taxonomy. These projects typically have:

• Items that are commonly monetary, integer, and pure types.
• All items of the same type using the same aspects.
• Integer items using the unit assigned to pure items.

To replace item aspects in a project:

1. Click the Home tab, then in the Navigation Pane, click Administration.
2. Under XBRL, double-click XBRL Projects.
3. In the project list in the work area, select the project for which you want to replace item aspects.
4. Click Home > Replace Project Aspects.
5. In the Replace project aspects window, choose a new item from the drop-down list associated to the aspect you want to change.
6. Click OK when you have completed all your changes.

Aspects you have selected are now associated with the project if they were not previously associated. Aspects you have replaced are no longer associated with the project.
