Find XBRL Tags in an Excel Object

An Excel object in CDM XBRL might contain many tags. You can easily find all tags in an Excel object whenever necessary.

You can use these instructions to search for all tags in any one Excel object. However, you cannot search for all tags in multiple Excel objects at the same time.

To find XBRL tags in an Excel object:

1. Open the project that you want to work with.
2. Open the Excel object that contains the tags that you want to find.
3. Click Home > Highlight Tags. Each cell that contains tagged data now displays a blue background, even if a different color was originally applied to the cell.

   Note: During the time that the highlights appear in the Excel object, you can continue to create tags, but you cannot edit the Excel object in any other way.

4. When you finish viewing tags in the Excel object. click Highlight Tags again. The original background color of the cell returns, and you can edit the Excel object if necessary.
