Rollforward

The CDM Rollforward feature allows you to reuse an existing report or report object by creating a complete copy of a report or report object. All report features, including the report structure, security settings, shared objects, and all object data are duplicated in the destination report and all taxonomy extensions and tags are preserved. This feature allows you to adopt a "Tag Once" approach to ESMA filings, in which a report is tagged in the first filing period and subsequently rolled forward for incremental tagging.

The time periods in the new rolled forward project will need to be edited to reflect the new reporting periods. For example, the Current Year time period should be changed from 2023 to 2024, the Previous Year time period should be changed from 2022 to 2023 and so on, starting from the most recent time period downwards.
