The Extension Taxonomies Interface
When you create and modify an extension taxonomy in the CDM Extension Taxonomy Editor, you use the Extension Taxonomies interface.
You access the CDM Extension Taxonomy Editor interface through the Navigation Pane: click the Home tab, then in the Navigation Pane, click Extension Taxonomies.
1 - The Primary Items pane is used to display and manage relationships between concepts inside the taxonomy's relationship groups. This includes creating new concepts, specifying their basic properties, establishing calculation relationships, and selecting preferred label types.
2 - The Dimensions pane is used to establish relationships between dimensional elements. These structures are used to apply dimensional qualities to concepts in the Primary Items pane.
3 - The Extension Taxonomies pane displays relationship groups, where you can add or edit relationship groups, configure element properties, and validate your extension taxonomy.
4 - The Extension Taxonomies ribbon is a command bar that you can use to save the taxonomy, set taxonomy properties, manage taxonomy templates, set editor options, and generate the current taxonomy.
