Add Calculation Relationships to Elements

You can add calculation relationships to elements in the CDM Extension Taxonomy Editor.

1. Open the extension taxonomy you want to work with.
2. In the Relationship Groups tab, select the Display checkbox for the relationship group.
3. In the Primary Items pane, right-click the relationship group and click Check out.
4. Right-click the element to use as the calculated total and click Edit Formula. The element has the Summation icon , and all other elements in the relationship group have a blank icon.
5. Click the blank icon, and select either the plus icon or the minus icon for each element in the relationship group to be combined to make the calculated total.
6. When you are finished assigning the relationships, right-click the element that you selected and click Accept Formula. All other menu options are now available.
