Project Plan

The Certent 365 Project Plan allows you to see your CDM based project to a successful completion. The streamlined project planning interface allows you to create and assign tasks to your teammate to better manage your document creation process.

Project Plan allows you:

  • The ability to add individual phases to better organize the steps to your project
  • The ability to add and assign tasks to team members
  • The ability for team members to indicate they have completed their tasks

To access Project Plan:

  1. Choose any project and open its Project Details page.
  2. The Planning panel in the middle of the page outlines phases and tasks to perform for the project.

  3. You can click the icon at the top-right corner of the panel to turn on its edit mode.

  4. You can then edit the project plan by:
    • Clicking Add task of a phrase to add a new task to the phrase.

    • Clicking Add New Phrase to add a new phase to the plan.
    • Clicking the name of a phase to rename it.
    • Hovering over a task, clicking the ellipsis when it appears on the task and clicking Delete to remove the task.
    • Clicking the icon in front of a task to change its status to be Not Started, In Progress, or Completed.

    • Clicking on a task to edit it in the Edit Task dialog.

    • Hovering over a phase and leveraging the ellipsis to rename or delete the phase, or move the phase to right/left.

Note: You must have the Owner membership for the project to manage a project plan. A team member with the Member permission can change task status assigned to "him" only.
