High Definition (HD) HTML

CDM 19.10.1 and later

CDM's High Definition (HD) reporting feature for EDGAR HTML, HTML, and iXBRL outputs allows you to create high-definition outputs that look exactly like how it would have been printed from Word. This fixed-width output avoids the common HTML formatting issues that come with viewing reflowable text on screens of various sizes. This HD output is now available in EDGAR-compliant HTML and iXBRL outputs. The non-EDGAR High Definition HTML can also embed fonts, where allowable.

Use High Definition

  • iXBRL
To set your iXBRL project to use HD, verify in the project properties that Enable High Definition is selected in the generation settings, then generate inline XBRL for the project. HD is the default for some jurisdictions.
  • EDGAR HTML
To generate EDGAR HTML using HD, select Enable High Definition in the generation settings and generate HTML.
  • HTML
Generating High Definition HTML (not for EDGAR/ SEC) always uses High Definition.
