Generate HTML

Required Permissions

To generate HTML output for reports, you should have the following permissions allowed:

• Report Permissions > Report Generation > Generate Entire Report
• Report Permissions > Report Generation > Generate Selected Report Objects
• Report Permissions > Report Generation > Generate EDGAR HTML

Generate HTML Output

1. In CDM, with the report open, click Home > Generate > Generate Entire Report/Generate Selection.

   

2. Under Select Format, if you are filing with the SEC through EDGAR, select EDGAR HTML. EDGAR HTML will have High Definition (HD) enabled in the generation settings by default in CDM version 20.8.1 and later.
   
   If you do not need EDGAR-compliant HTML, you may prefer to use the High Definition HTML format instead, which allows some features not allowed on EDGAR, such as font embedding. This HTML format will always use HD.
3. Review and adjust the generation options under Select Customized Group and Additional Preferences.
4. Click OK. The status of the process is available in the status bar. From there you can open or save the file.
