Validate Inline XBRL Content
As you work in CDM XBRL, you can validate inline XBRL to determine whether any errors are present. The project must be set for the generation of inline XBRL by your administrator.
By validating your content frequently, you can detect and correct problems as they occur. Detecting problems early makes fixing the errors easier and can help prevent further errors.
To validate inline XBRL content:
- Open the project that you want to work with.
- Click Home > Validate. The Validation window opens.
- The Jurisdiction section displays the jurisdiction the validation is for.
- In the Refresh section, select an option to refresh the data in the report that is associated with the project.
- In the Validation section, select one or more of the available validation options.
- Click OK. The Validation Messages tab displays any conflicts.
- In the Tag Inspector tab, click Selected Facts to filter your tag results.
- Review the tags and select the tags to delete.
- Click Delete.
