Generation Options

When you generate a report or selection, you can create your desired output by customizing the settings in the generation options.

Select Format

Select the preferred file type:

Select Customized Group

If you have set up the report using Custom Groups, select the one you would like to use for the generation process.

Additional Preferences

  • Save as Snapshot
  • Perform Full Refresh
  • Use Separate Workbooks (Excel only)
  • Number of worksheets per workbook (Excel only)
  • Select Language and Region Option
  • Include Supporting Documents
  • Include Exhibits
  • Save as Snapshot
  • Generate charts as images
  • Optimize the size of the generated output (PowerPoint only)
  • Embed Font
  • Enable High Definition (HD) HTML (EDGAR HTML generation only; High Definition is the default for (non-SEC) High Definition HTML)
  • Include Courtesy PDF (EDGAR HTML generation only
  • Alternating Row Coloring (EDGAR HTML generation only)
  • Include HTML File (Desktop Publishing only)
  • Automatic Word Generation (Desktop Publishing generation only)

Select Macros

If you have set up your report to add macros to the output file, select the macro to use (Excel and PowerPoint only).

You should have the following permission allowed:

Report Permissions > Report Generation > Generate Report Containing Macros

Inline XBRL

iXBRL generation is not available directly through the report generation process. See Generate Inline XBRL.
