XBRL Tags
A tag is a link between an XBRL fact and its source data, such as a report object or the result of a query. You can use CDM XBRL to tag data that exists in Excel objects, Word objects, and relational data queries.
Before you can work with tags in CDM XBRL, at least one XBRL project must be created for your report. A project is a container that is used to store the tags that make up an instance document, and is contributed to by Excel and Word objects in different ways.
Tagging comes in the following forms: normal tagging for normal items, text block tagging, and footnote tagging.
