Extension Taxonomy Tasks

When you work in the CDM Extension Taxonomy Editor, you must perform one or more taxonomy-related tasks.

Before you can begin to do your tagging, the extension taxonomy must exist, and it must be available for selection within the reports.

You can perform the following tasks on extension taxonomies in the Extension Taxonomy Editor:

• Open/Save an Extension Taxonomy
• Edit an Extension Taxonomy
• Validate an Extension Taxonomy
• Generate an Extension Taxonomy
• Define the Element Properties in an Extension Taxonomy
• Export Taxonomy Errors to a Microsoft™ Excel File
• Manage Extension Taxonomies
• Manage Taxonomy Templates
